Fall fashion fake-out.

Fall is my favorite season, mainly for the warm color palette and the cozy fashion. Boots with tall socks is a trend being seen everywhere this fall. Here's trick to get this look on your own without having to buy new pairs of socks, and while at the same time reducing the bulk in your boot from a heavy sock. 

Take an old sweater, or purchase a cheep one from a consignment shop, cut the sleeves off of the garment. You can now wear the sleeves in a leg warmer style. Cut the sleeves just short enough to stick out the top of your boot and you will create an illusion that you are wearing a tall sock!

A crafter's best friend.

Decoupage, otherwise known as Mod Podge, is very useful for many different crafting occasions, but it is crazy expensive. You can easily make your own decoupage to save a pretty penny. 

Here is what you will need:

• Elmer's glue
• H₂O
• Ajar of your liking

What to do:

•  Simply empty the glue into the jar, and add water. The jar should be half water, half glue. Shake your heart out, and you have your very own homemade decoupage.

Simple as can be :]

Never to early to dream of Spring.

It might seem a little early to already be thinking about the Spring, but Pantone has released their official color report for Spring 2013! When picking colors for upcoming DIY projects keep these colors in mind since these are going to be popular this upcoming spring.
